Welcome to Destination Broadmoor!

Your vision statement for the Keller Library coffee shop

The vision for the Keller Library Coffee shop is a comfortable space, conveniently situated in the heart of Broadmoor. Our hope is that it will be used by all members of the community, including our children, as a place to see neighbors, study for school, play games, and share our ideas. While it will hopefully bustle with activity, it should also be a place where one can quietly read the newspaper or get some homework done. It should be easy to show up, plug in, and relax.

We want the shop itself to be run on triple bottom line principles. That means it should be a thriving business, but it should also provide opportunities to improve social networks and equity among Broadmoorians. It should employ local residents and host community functions when possible. The shop should also be environmentally responsible, and take advantage of opportunities to have a limited footprint on our natural resources.

Most importantly, the coffee should be delicious. Customers should be able to choose from among an enticing array of drinks, served in real mugs with attention to detail and freshness.

Our hope is that this shop will draw in all of our neighbors and bring people to Broadmoor to see what else it offers.
